30-Minute Shrimp & Garlic Noodles
Listen, I totally understand being tired after a long day of work and not wanting to cook but wanting a delicious meal and this dish makes whipping up a meal easy and so satisfying. With a flavorful sauce, perfectly seasoned shrimp, and bucatini noodles that soak up all the goodness, this dish is sure to become a favorite in your weeknight dinner rotation.
Ingredients:
8 oz bucatini noodles
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
Garlic powder, onion powder, Lawry's salt, black pepper, Old Bay seasoning (to season shrimp)
1/2 white onion, finely chopped
2 green onion, chopped
8 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons oyster sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons sesame oil
Red pepper flakes, garlic powder, oregano, onion powder, black pepper (to season sauce)
Instructions:
Prepare the Noodles:
Cook the bucatini noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Season and Cook the Shrimp:
Season the peeled and deveined shrimp with garlic powder, onion powder, Lawry's salt, black pepper, and Old Bay seasoning.
Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side until they are pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Prepare the Sauce Mixture:
In a bowl, add brown sugar, oyster sauce, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
Season the sauce with red pepper flakes, garlic powder, oregano, onion powder, and black pepper to taste. Stir well to combine.
Make the Sauce:
In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of sesame oil over medium heat.
Add the finely chopped white onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onions are translucent and the garlic is fragrant.
Combine Everything Together:
Return the cooked noodles and shrimp to the skillet with the sauce mixture. Toss gently to coat the noodles evenly with the sauce.
Serve and Garnish:
Serve the Shrimp & Garlic Noodles hot, garnished with chopped green onion and red pepper flakes.
